While the urge to ride may be strong in this early spring weather, some who have already done so have turned the trails to a muddy quagmire. To try to limit the damage and effect repairs we are closing the trails to horse traffic. If the current weather continues, it is possible that the ground will dry sufficiently to effect repairs and reopen soon.

Perfectly fine to do so. We only went about 200 feet on Saturday and turned back due to bugs and the saturated ground. Thanks for posting the closure. Hope the weather is better so the trails can be ridden before the hot summer comes.
